Very very very busy.......doing nothing!

Well, as my title reads, my good friend and I have been very busy doing nothing. Our company out of Ontario occasionally does work out of province, so we generally volunteer to go. This time it has been an absolute piss around. We have been in Edmonton for over a week and a half, and barely done any work. The general contractor keeps shutting us down. I have never seen anything like this. We have been sitting in our house all week so far. Any longer and I think it's time to head home. I am getting really bored, there is only so much Internet and TV you can stare at. We went to the west Edmonton mall, nature walks through some protected green space close by. But my time could be spent better at home, working and doing other things. oh well, hopefully we can go home, and come back when we can do something.

Edmonton

So, I've been here since early monday morning, everything looks the same since I was here last. My good friend Lee and I are staying in a pretty nice house in the south end. Things are going good, except the fact that we haven't been able to do anything because of design problems. So today we went to ikea, sears home, and best buy. boy I'm having a blast! Oh well, another two and a half weeks and I can go home. Living the dream...

Well hello there!

Well it's been quite some time since I last posted, so hello to the 2 people who maybe read this. Living back in Ontario, not what I remembered, at all. Oh well, some times we make choices, and I guess you can never predict any outcome. I have to work out of province for the next little while, and that means I should have a lot of time after work to post, considering all we do is get high after work. So welcome me back, because I just won't go away!

My little monster

Well as the title reads, Gretchen is my little monster; she is an almost one-year-old Staffy (birthday is March 27th), and an absolutely wonderful companion. The only problem with her is that when we have to leave the house for a bit, she likes to destroy things. We never leave her for long though, maybe she thinks that we are never coming back. I hope not because that would be terrible to think. The reason I'm writing this is we have to go shopping, and I'm just wondering what she is going to do. She has ripped apart couch cushions, eaten a hole in the couch, chewed up a headband, and pooped in the house on more than one occasion. I hate crating her, but one more time and I think I will have to start again. Well good luck to Mags and me, we never know what we're going to come home to. Well, it's been over a month since i last posted something. I just feel weird, like I'm in limbo or something. It's Friday morning and I'm just sitting here listening to some Matt Good B - sides, and rarities, what can I say, they're pretty damn good. That's where i got that title from, I really like it, what a good song. Maybe i start posting more often, give me something to do. Before I finish this up, I leave a picture of my old van, why? not sure, just have allot of memories in it, and miss it

Live music

I absolutely love live music. Last night we went to see Attack In Black, at the Biltimore, and needless to say it was a great show! It was the late show and the doors didn't open until 11, so that's when we showed up. After waiting in line for over an hour, watching people cut in front of us, and bribe the bouncers to let them in before all the people that had bothered to show up on time, we finally got to go in. It was funny because just as we were kinda deciding to leave, the line started to move. I'm glad we stayed, it was a really good show. The last song they played had the keyboard/guitar player from the Constantines come out on stage and play, which I thought was just awesome. All being said, I'm definitely glad we decided to stay and wait in that line.

New addition

So, yesterday my girlfriend and I were at the home depot when we saw plants 50% off because they needed some TLC. So we both agreed on the saddest looking tropical tree, well let's hope for the best!I took the picture from my cell phone so it might not look the best.
